Hope you’re having a wonderful week! For this week’s Tablescape Thursday, I’m sharing links to 5 DIY centerpiece tutorials you can make for your spring or summer table settings. (I’m actually showing six centerpieces below, but two are made using the same idea/tutorial.)
These were all easy and fun to make…hope you enjoy!
This spring centerpiece was a Pottery Barn Knock-off and to make it I used two vases, one within the other.
Here’s another example using this vase for a summer table setting. You’ll find the tutorial showing how to make and use the double-bowl hurricane vase here: Make a Double Bowl Hurricane Floral Centerpiece.
Each summer I try to challenge myself to make one “carved watermelon” centerpiece. Last year it was a flower garden with a white picket fence. Tutorial can be found here: Watermelon Flower Garden Centerpiece.
A couple of years before, I tried my hand at carving out a whale with his tail curved upward over his back. 🙂 Tutorial can be found here: Whale Watermelon Centerpiece.
It’s that time of year! Need an easy and fun bridal shower centerpiece that won’t break the budget? This centerpiece is perfect for a “Kitchen Gadget” themed bridal shower and at the end of the party, the bride can take it home with her. Tutorial for this centerpiece can be found here: Centerpiece For A Kitchen Bridal Shower.
Though these candle lanterns (inspired by Pottery Barn’s Hyannis Candle Lantern) weren’t created for a tablescape, they would work great for a beach themed table setting for summertime. You’ll find a link to the tutorial to make these candle lanterns here: Make a Hyannis Candle Lantern, Pottery Barn Inspired.
Looking forward to the beautiful tablescapes linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!
